Alcoa signs largest-ever agreement with Airbus

Alcoa Inc. has signed its largest deal to date with Airbus to supply about $1 billion in multimaterial aerospace fastening systems, the company announced Monday. Alcoa (NYSE: AA) fasteners are used on every Airbus platform. Under the most recent agreement, Alcoa's fasteners will be used on some of Airbus' latest models, including its newest commercial plane, the A350 XWB, and the A32neo.
