Hope for St. Louis: U.S. Navy voices need for more Boeing F/A-18 jets

The U.S. Navy told lawmakers Tuesday that it needs more of Boeing's F/A-18 Super Hornets to avoid a shortage of fighter jets for its aircraft carriers. Rear Admiral Michael Manazir, director of air warfare for the U.S. chief of naval operations, testified Tuesday before the readiness subcommittee of the House Armed Services Committee.
