Allegheny Technologies Inc.'s petition to the U.S. Department of Commerce has resulted in an investigation about dumping stainless steel sheet and strip products by China. The investigation was confirmed by the United Steelworkers, who said ATI (NYSE: ATI) and two other steelmakers, Outokumpu Stainless and North American Stainless, were also petitioners.
