A Few Late Morning Headlines

The Census Bureau and HUD announced that new housing starts rose to a three-month high in June, "recovering from a Springtime lull." Call me crazy, I don't trust HUD or the Census Bureau.

The manufacturing sector across the New York region slipped in July; the New York State Manufacturing Survey fell by five points to 0.6 according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. I don't trust the Fed either!

Despite problems with Pentagon contracting, F-35's appear to by flying off the shelves (LOL). However most of Lockheed's gains are attributed to its acquisition of Sikorsky.
